Beyonce And Solange Skip Father’s Wedding

Father of singers Beyonce and Solange Knowles, wed his 2nd wife last weekend, but the sisters did not attend. Beyonce fired her father as her manager after the music executive impregnated a female employee while still married to Bey’s mother, Tina Knowles.

The Knowles’ divorced soon after his illegitimate son was born in 2011. Beyonce and Solange barely speak to their father now.

“Unfortunately, Beyoncé and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend,” Knowles, 61, told US Weekly.

While Solange performed at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England that night, Beyoncé did not have a show scheduled for her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.”
The “Diva” singer’s absence raises questions of estrangement.
