Game over: The second Boston bombing suspect has been arrested

The 2nd of the Boston bombing suspect, Dzhokhar A Tsarnaev, is believed to have been arrested following a response by police to reports of gunshots in a boating area.

The Boston police tweeted: “CAPTURED!!! The hunt is over. The search is done. The terror is over. And justice has won. Suspect in custody.”

Law enforcement officials erupted in cheers at the scene of the arrest in Watertown, Massachusetts.

One of the Boston bombing suspects is dead and the second was on the loose and was said to be ‘armed and dangerous’.

The apprehended suspect, named by US authorities as 19-year-old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was seen on CCTV wearing a white baseball cap.

Dzhokhar A Tsarnaev is believed to be a legal immigrant to the U.S., who arrived in the country one year ago from Chechnya.

He may have had military training, according to NBC. The 19-year-old, who attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, is an amateur wrestling champion.

‘Suspect 1′ who died in hospital is yesterday, is believed to be 26 years old and the brother of ‘Suspect 2′ Dzhokhar.

The older brother attended Bunkerhill Community College and was studying to become an engineer but took a year off to pursue boxing.
