One of Nigeria’s most talented and celebrated writer
and author of the timeless novel, Things Fall Apart, Professor Chinua Achebe is
dead.
The 82-year-old, who also recently released a new
book titled ‘There Was a Country’, passed on last night in a hospital in
Boston, Massachusetts.
It can be recalled that the Professor Achebe, who
was the David and Mariana Fisher Professor of Literature at Brown University,
has been ill for some time.
